You came to sit with them. Now they’re asking you about probate.
In the quiet hours, families tell you what they’re afraid of. Some of it is grief. Some of it is the will, the house, the accounts, the calls they don’t know how to make. You care about all of it, though much of it was never yours to carry.
- How will we know when it’s close?
- Who do we tell first? Who can wait?
- What do we say to the grandchildren?
- What happens to her bank account now?
- Would he want all of us there at the end?
- Do we have to call Social Security ourselves?
You stay on the emotional side of the line. Omuna holds the logistical one.
The left column needs a person in the room. Everything on the right is in Omuna today, in one place the family can come back to.
What stays with you

Something to give, and a way to stay close.
Families can start on their own today. Becoming a founding partner gets you the partner portal.
Step 1: Become a founding partner
A short form. Choose “End-of-life doula”. A person reads every one.
Step 2: We set you up
We talk through your practice, then open your space in the partner portal. If you work with others, you can invite them in.
Step 3: Invite a family with a link.
Open an arrangement for a family, even while you’re still planning ahead together. It lives in their own workspace, and Omuna doesn’t email them about it.
Step 4: Keep an eye from a distance
Your roster shows how far along each family is and when they were last active, so you know who might need a call.
Where Omuna stops, and you begin.
- It isn’t legal advice, and it doesn’t write wills or advance directives. Family Circle records where those documents are kept.
- Free for founding partners. No contract and no per-referral fee. Families can start using Omuna for free.
- The partner portal is in beta, and portal access is the partner benefit today. We add practices one at a time, by application.

Questions end-of-life doulas ask us
How do families find a death doula on Omuna?
Through the directory. Families look there for local end-of-life help, and a claimed listing is how you show up when they do.
I work on my own. Is this only for larger organizations?
No. The portal works for a practice of one. If you do work with others, you can invite them, and each of them can open every family you support.
Can families start before the death?
Yes. Family Circle is made for that time: wishes for the service, who to call, where documents are kept, and letters to be passed on later. An arrangement can also be opened as planning ahead.
Does it cost anything?
Omuna is free for our founding partners, with no contract and no per-referral fee. Families can start using Omuna for free.
Can I see a family’s information?
Only for families you are supporting through the portal. On those arrangements you can see and update the checklist, the memorial page and the obituary. When the family signs in, they can see that you have access and end it at any time.
Can I look at it before I apply?
Yes. The checklist and the guide library are open to look at without an account, so you can see exactly what a family would get.
